E-mail Address is Already in Use

If you delete a Distribution List and try to add it again, you receive the following error:
The e-mail address is already in use.
If you have moved a domain from one Exchange Online account to another, simply log into the old account and remove previous Distribution Lists and Resources. Click Service Settings, Exchange Online, and Distribution Lists or Conference Rooms. Then click the box next to each Distribution List or Conference Room and click Delete.
Otherwise, wait 24 hours and try to add the Distribution List again. If the same error occurs, you must request that the e-mail address be manually deleted from Microsoft Online Services Support (866) 676-6546.
