Stop RDP Printer Redirection on Non-Terminal Server

To prevent annoying and innocuous Event 1111 Terminal Service Printer redirection errors when logging onto non-terminal or remote desktop servers:

  1. In Administrative Tools, open Terminal Services Configuration (Windows Server 2003) or Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration (Windows Server 2008).

  2. Right-click the connection RDP-TCP and click Properties.

  3. On the Client Settings tab, check disable Windows Printer Mapping and OK.
